Hello to anyone checking in, hoping to find something new. As you have observed, I've abandoned blogging, having reentered American life at the inhuman pace we cling to, for whatever unfortunate and frightening (fearful?) reasons. I have, however, created a limited profile on Facebook (www.facebook.com), so if you are looking for very brief updates or want to leave a quick message, find me there by name. They will probably want to you sign up, which is o.k., as I don't think you have to give any compromising information to "add [me] as a friend" (the language of the site is pretty amusing) and see my profile.
Not sure how I feel about these cyber-lives of ours.
