Every first and third Sunday of each month, Iringa Christian Fellowship (an international, interdenominational group of Christians) meets for a service in this building behind the Anglican cathedral in town. It was built in 1930 and originally served as the Anglican church, but when the cathedral was built this more modest building was used for Sunday School. Tanzanian kids come in after we're done. You might be able to see me in some coveted shade at the right side of the building with Jason, one of the Houghton students who hitched a ride with us to yesterday's service.
Here's a decent view of the inside of the church. Most folks hang out after the service for tea (or coffee...only instant on this occasion, though...sorry you New Jersey caffeine addicts :)) and goodies and conversation. I hope to post some good photos of some of the ICF regulars, some of my favorite people here...

Is that a fieldstone foundation, brick walls and a thatched roof?
Any home with a refrigerator on the front porch is my kind of place!
